snapped coil spring

on my 04 plate 172, i was driving earlier and i heard this pinging sound from the front i slow down and still hear it so i drive along a bit further and a bit of coil spring flies out the side of the car so it snapped! dissapointed in the quality of the parts looking at the peice its shocking how its broken. an excuse to get some coilovers though

never ever seen a bit of spring part company with the car!
changed countless broken springs on various cars in the past but the broken bit has always been wedged between the other coils

Sorry to hear about you spring issue dude.

That sounds a good excuse to get a set of Eibachs springs in replacement

Maybe Sportlines or some Prolines.
