You mean mondial blue 172 Cup ;)

The main mechanical bits are done, the rest is stuff that could be sorted for well under £400!

does it have tap player or CD player ?? would you want to keep standard HU or would you get a non standard and fit to be able to use ipod?

Yeah, don't try and have a conversation on a forum, for God's sake.

Ive got a connects2 thingy for my stereo and that works well with my iPhone. Keeps things looking standard too.

Exhaust wise I've got a KTR stealth on my 172 and that's nice and quiet but still sounds good when you get your foot down. My Trophy has a KTR induction kit and decat which is also surprisingly quiet around town - but roars when you're going for it.

  172 exclusive no 172
there are a load of head units out there for under 200 with bluetooth and / or front aux jacks..

Front splitter would could be one of these , just need to trim a little off the ends and its a good fit..

check to see if you have a silenced center section or even a cat... these would help to quieten down the exhaust sound, just done it on my exclusive..

how this helps

You could always find a second hand stealth on here/ebay for it, save a few quid

  Clio 1.2
Halfrauds sell a connector plug so you can connect the steering wheel controls but only available with certain makes like Kenwood, about 20 quid

Welcome to the club, few things to help you out.

You want a skoda splitter, they're a 10th of the price of the Cio item and a will bend, not snap. Part number is easily available if you search.
Wheels, there's a recent thread in which Daniel recommends someone really good in bristol, why not contact him and see how much he wants? He's in bristol too.
iPod, contact MT audio on here, he'll sort you out with EXACTLY what you want for a great price.
As for the exhaust, best one I ever had was a custom powerflow, it wasn't quiet, but it wasn't too loud at all.

Glovebox handle is missing, can't open at the moment - this is a major issue. Bothers me. Any ideas? Use a screw driver to catch the lock and open it till you can get a new door.

Wheels majorly in need of a return, very scruffy - Send it to either a wheel specialist or just take them to a body shop with no tyres on and ask them to refurb the wheels, minimal cost in body shops but about £50 a wheel in a specialist.

Seatbelts need a clean - Fully extend the seatbelt outside the door, shut door and jet wash it against the car, even better is get some one to hold the buckle tight to the car and jet wash it.

Annoying black sticky bits under the badge -Get some tar and glue remover, use some kitchen towl and drench that and stand it on the part you want removing for 20 mins.

Need a front splitter - Buy one... get a skoda one thats £15 or so.

Want to find a way to connect my iPod ... Any suggestions? Connects2 or pm MTAudio on here.

New exhaust - this one is far too loud. Suggestions? Buy one? Milltek with a cat, check yours has a cat.

So noticed a few erm.... "Quirks!" - Again, help mucho appreciated.

So, the front headlights are extremely dim - Night Breaker + Gold on the way

The brake lights dont work!!!!!!! When the car is turned on the red lights illuminate at the back, but under braking this light doesnt change. Also the spolier brake light doesnt work... any suggestions!!??

When I pull up the windows the interior lights dim.

The car failed to start - rolling forwards it did

Serv and Airbag light are on. Stop light also comes on intermittently - but it hasnt limited the driving in any way

Brake lights could just be the little plunger style switch above the brake pedal. Twist it 45 degrees and remove it. All your btake lights should now be illuminated. Pull out the plunger to its full extension. Now put the switch back in its holster by the pedal. You'll just need to play about with it a bit - adjusting it a few clicks at a time until the brake lights come on when you tap the brake.
