well sad as it may seem but my 03 plate is on its way from the 'clan' after the missus got a promotion that meant a company car (in the interim its an Accord i-CDTi until October anyway (in tarty EX spec, arctic blue pearl and ivory, 18 inch alloys, sat nav leather).

Many a happy moment in it, never a huge fan of the blue dash, but a refreshing change from my f.f i spose. Did always like the more rugged looks with the splitter and spolier. Seats have wore better than my f.f ones as well and thats with 51k of usage.

So without the usual f.f v cup guff starting id say the cup is a better enthuaists choice as it is more taut in the corners and i never really could settle on which was quicker being truthful as the cup had the CC pack on it, so the real weight saving was obsolete (It was bought second hand), but that said on its day it was joy to throw round corners and the different setup i feel was always more rewarding in bends.

28k worth of miles done it her and thoroughly enjoyable, was tempted to keep it, but a bit pointless as it would probably sit doing nowt outside my house!!

did it take long to sell?

not really, it was due to go to finance company on Thursday, but i'v managed to sell it to a guy i used to work with and got the asking price, which was nice!!

Its a 2nd car for him as he was pretty impressed when i turned up at his patch months ago with my f.f and fancied one.

So put 28k miles on it and it depreciated £700, as it was bought for £7600! That was 15months ago!

bit sad but had a wee blast the night and enjoyed it. The missus accord is turning up on Thursday as well, so looking forward to seeing it in the flesh
