so where is my starter motor??

probably a stupid question but where about in the bay is the starter motor its just when the clio used to limp a lot i had to keep flicking the key and now the solinode (not sure thats the right spelling) is stuck and i want to give it a 'little' tap lol just so i can get to work and back before the new one arrives

Will be somewhere around the gearbox bell housing Bruce.

Over the back of the engine. Underneath the manifold if you're looking from above. There's a heatshield covering it.
