Sold iPhone issue

  GTD, Lupo
I decided to sell my old iphone 4 last week and the buyer received it yesterday. Just before I sold it I done a factory reset but the buyer is now telling me he is getting a "sim card is not supported message". The phone is locked to o2 and he is using an o2 SIM card.

I have no idea what the problem is?

I didn't want to but after mobile phone exchange took the piss and offered me £26 I decided it was my only option as it was just gathering dust.

Found out a mate had a similar issue and the chap just needs to take the phone to an o2 shop to get the phone unlocked to accept a different sim than the one it was originally made to carry.

Old sim card, get him to go to o2.

Not your problem, as long as you described that it was locked to o2.

It's not someone trying to mess you around, it's just a r****d that doesn't understand.
