The magazines raved about the cup suspension pack but I doubt you would notice the difference, I personally would go for it but thats becuase I prefer the different coloured wheels.
As for faults there are a few but only minor and most will have been sorted out under warranty e.g. engine mounts, rusty exhaust and warning lights on dash. Other than that they are mechanically sound and other than a annoying rattle that mine has had from day one, touch wood ive had little problems with it.

as has been said before they have the usual problems most of which are sorted out under warranty, things to look out for is blowing exhausts, they have a habit of rusting and falling off quickly, rear dampers leaking oil, leaking xenon headlight washer jets and thats all i can think off.
the real difference between the cup and non cup suspension pack is the wheel colour (cups have anthracite where non cups have silver) think the cup is supposed to sit 3mm lower but due to manufacturing tollerences or something a cup packed one can actually sit higher than a non cup packed one! think the cup pack has slightly stiffer springs too but to be honest no comparison to aftermarket stuff.
They also came with an option for a cup spoiler pack which adds the larger rear cup spoiler and front splitter on the bottom of the front bumper (some seem to have the splitter missing as they get ripped off or dealer "forgets" to fit them!
