I haven't got any digital pics of these so assumed i'd not got any pictures. Looking for some pants this morning I found these photos buried in the drawer.

Excuse the quality, I've had to photo the photos using my phone.

My utter pride and joy. May Bank holiday monday, 1998. driving like a tw*t, ended up barrel rolling through a building site. through the scaffolding and out the other side of a portakabin. Right on bristol city centre. Three of us in hospital and me with a 6 inch piece of metal jammed in my shoulder. I was more upset for my mum and dad as they'd spent their life savings on the car as I couldn't insure the car AND buy it. £1100 iirc. What made it worse, they drove past as the fire brigade were cutting us out, all three of us on oxygen masks... Fcuking bad day that was...

In this one, you can see a very broken me, looking very sorry for myself. The guys at the salvage yard said they could not believe anyone survived it.

Here are some of my others, none with any stories. Apart from the white orion. I bought that to avoid the police catching me in 2002 as i'd been banned from driving and thought i'd get caught in the car they banned me in. Yes, I was a helmet.

Anyway, I digress...

306 Dturbo, Lowered, Tecnomagnesio wheels and a remus exhaust.

Golf 1.8T, the first car me and my now wife bought together. I put Audi TT wheels on it and had the windows tinted. Was an absolute minter. Ended up swapping it for the Evo.

My Rover Coupe! 218VVC Tbar. Was a freak, it went like stink. Faster than my tuned 220 Turbo coupe! I did the headgasket in on the way home from buying it, racing my mate in his MR2. LOL! I paid £7000 for this fcuker but due to being a prick, had to sell it when I got banned. It was Cadburys purple with white leather. I was the boy!! lol.

This was a minter too. I bought it when I was at Rolls Royce but also had it when I became a valeter. I spent every evening waxing it. It was a beauty!

Sadly I haven't got any pics of it sat on it's arse.

I removed the suspension when I sold it and at a later date, I fitted it to the white one.

And this is the white one. Ended up selling it for £80 after a stern warning when someone saw me driving it. Gutted.

So yeah, it's a bit dull but I thought i'd share.

Yeah, looking at that 306, it was a good looking car! It's still about, on the original dTurbo alloys. Sold it to a woman in an old peoples home. That must have been 12 years ago and she's still got it!!

I was only 21 when I got my 220. I'd been driving around in a 2cv for a few months (don't ask) and then got into this. I'm surprised I didn't kill myself to be honest. Proper quick car.

Always wanted an Orion too what was is... 1.6i Ghia the one to have.
I also have a p reg pug dturbo in blue on my drive now. Its on nearly 180k miles now (bought on 80k!) Its been a brilliant 2nd car for getting to work and back.
Got its MOT next week, not sure its going to make it, its got a few issues now.
Plus its 2nd rear beam is shot now.
Gonna be a sad day

I had a 214si then a 1.8vvc tomcat with cold feed k and n. I thought that tomcat was THE best car I'd ever seen .

Had it stolen at 3 am at work only for the chap to stop the other side off fence and told me to wave goodbye to it as he wheelspun off into then night

Then got banned like you lot in 2002 and ended up in the clio in 2004 and still have it .

It's going into storage for winter but you're more than welcome when it comes back out.

They were essentially an XR3i but had taller gearing and 4 doors. Less of an insurance risk too.
Bear in mind that the 3i was one of the hot hatches to have of the time. It will probably seem a bit naff these days but they were great for that era.
Unless you were a VW or Vauxhall fan boy.
