some nice person scuffed my cup

After coming out from work today, what I thought was a big dollop of bird crap on my rear arch turned out to be the scuff mark some nice person had left for me to remember them by. I just cant believe people do this and just drive off. Its the second new car I have had problems like this with. It just makes you wonder sometimes whether its worth bothering going out and buying a decent car.

So youd stick around and pay the costs of repairs?

All very well and good being an honest man, but theres a fine line between honesty and stupidity.

(Lol, hope I understood your meaning of scuff)

Theres a very large line between driving sensibly, and driving with no eyes though. To hit another car in a car park you need to be a complete clueless r****d, so I guess it goes without saying youd be ignorant enough to drive off.

The worse thing is the fact that I teach in a tough school, but the kids have never touched the car (touch wood). I just find peoples attitutdes towards causing damage to other peoples property appauling. the thing that I try to get through to the kids, and something I live by is "responsibility for your own actions". If you F**k up you put it right.

its always the same u park & exit the vehicle with all the care u would extend to others , yet some 1 who basically doesnt give a flying french connection uk (fcuk) will do this without a second thought

kids (with their parents present) r the same dont care, dont give a fcuk. frustrating 4 all hey hotdog as 4 the 1s who back into your car (touch parking, no less) dont start me....

not really much 1 can do other than (dont drive ur car & park in a public space) lets get paranoid dont think thats practical now do we

sorry 2 hear that. i have had my car 4 less than 3wks & already i have noticed some marks on passenger as well as drivers door (i need 2 drive 2 work, could catch public trans, but have 2 drop off & pick up kids)

ahh... the joys of having a car (any car 4 that matter)

doesnt excuse the fcuk ers in the 1st place...

yours (et all) in empathy,

I park in the most out of the way spaces in car parks and usually on an end space. If I cant find a space that I am happy with, I just dont park in the car park. It drive my wife nuts, specially if we go somewhere and we then leave becuase I wont park the 172.

But after seeing so many people behaviour in car parks, I value my car more than a shopping trip.
