Some Sunflower Love

Not washed it since I got in I'm January, but only been on the rd for the last week

Still had all the dust etc from the body shop etc, so was desperate for it

Bought some Autoglym HD Wax so snow foamed it, washed with AG shampoo, applied AG Super Resin Polish the the HD wax

Took off the wheels and touched up the callipers, and gave the arches 2 coats of matte black

Treated the plastics with AG trim restorer, the handles still appear faded so will do these again

The results are worth the hard work, it's really lookin good now - glad I went back to black rubstrips

Center caps need doing black, and not liking the PH2 rear lights and bumper.

PH1 should stay PH1!!

Yes the black side strips look good on a yellow car.

Would prefer the original bumper and lights but sunflowers always look great.

A smooth rear wiper plate and a cup/trophy spoiler would finish the back end off nicely.

Just a guy all the mechanic lads in the area use for their sale cars or cheap jobs etc, but he's recently moved to a better premises, and his work has improved from 'ok but cheap' to 'really quite good, and still cheap!'

There a few imperfections, don't get my wrong - I had to do the arch liners to cover the overspray but that's minor, and they look 100% better for it anyway!

Bonnet has been smoothed by someone previously obv, so to 're add' the diamond would mean a lot of work

Im goin to refund the wheels, so ill do the caps then

In fact, colour for the wheels - wat do people reckon? Stay black, gloss or matte, back to silver, or something different?

Never do matte black wheels - they look caked in brake dust even when they're clean

this did mine matte black they look brown/orange most of time with all brake dust
