looking good. How hard are the exhaust surrounds to fit? I was told its more than tricky
You can't remove/refit the belt with it in place and its only really there for undoing and retightening the cam pulley nuts.Where is the second locking tool on the pully side :S Hope this hasn't been fubard mate
Are they a renault specialist? If not why would you not take your trophy to one! wollylol
I know what all you guys are saying but the guy that done the work was a Renault RTE for over 4 years and now is a master tech for Vw / Audi.
The timing is spot on and we used the correct timing belt tool kit from Renault as i used to work there as a delivery driver and as i say the guy that done it worked there for 4 years so we got the tools.
I am a parts manager in a Vw garage and there is 5 Renault RTE's that left renault and now work with me and they have over 40 years of french cars and cable ties.
All that needs done now is a ful service and the rear disc's & pads done as you can hear the wheel bearings in the rear when you go above 60/70mph
