Someone with Dialogys

-J-

Car  RS2'ed 172 Cup
My Sidelight Holder (The Plastic bit you push the bulb into) Has gone Brittle and snapped in half... Can someone with Dialogys help me out and see if there is a part number for just the bulb holder?

Worse than that if its the actual bit inside the headlight like i'm thinking? New headlight time, at least they're cheaper than the xenon ones at £74.

No it's not the bit on the light itself, it's the White plastic holder attatched to the wires you push the side light into.

Super Glue is no good, the plastics to brittle.

Which is inside the headlight itself yes? No parts avaliable for stuff at that level, new headlight only i'm afraid.

Its the white bits on this Loom (This is for a Pug 106 though)

Just buy a knackered/damaged headlight and splice on a section of loom. No need for the entire headlight to be swapped, the loom is part of the unit though as Ben stated earlier.

Aw Thats major Ball ache.... Off to the Breakers yard with some wire cutters I go!

so you need the loom for the sidelights ?

im still confused about what you actually want, either its a loom or a headlight

It's the connector that you plug the side light into, this connector is then pushed into the headlight.

Like in the photo above… the connectors on the left of the photo.

so the bit that actually holds the bulb ?

not usually available seperately from the full lighting loom, however you may be able to use one from the side repeaters of some early Renaults as they did those seperately, it may not be 100% the same though so might not fit, just chop one off at a breakers yard or try ebay

Thats the bit, I popped into Renault yesterday and they confirmed its a full lamp thats needed :(

Will try the local breakers Saturday and see if they have any old clios in I can Lop a chunk of loom out of.

If not it will be a new lamp.... Makes me glad I have a Cup without Xennons as I dread to think how much a new lamp would be otherwise!
