What about the thread that he made in Jan this year talking of buying a quicker (circa 20k) car to replace Lusty in the summer ??

- In true fashion that thread was attention seeking too, tbh I bet there is no intention at all in selling the lusty chariot.

At the end of the day, just 2.0 it & have done with that.
Or get rid of it & buy the car you were going on about.

It's also funny how this thread has turned up saying that it could do with more power - there was a thread once upon a time saying that 'I felt the rush of lustys power' or do we forget about that ? :S

Ed, You are obviously happy with the way your car looks (Who gives a f**k if people on here dont, They are all just jumping on the bandwagon as soon as they see your username, So I wouldn't worry about it)

Why not change the engine, I'm sure a 2.0 conversion can be done for a few grand. Yes it will be more money invested which you wont get back (I've been there) and you are cutting the market come selling time (A young new driver is your niche market when selling a car like this, so a 2.0 16 will really whittle your market down.

However, You would have the car you love, with some power, And TBH, I'd love to see Lusty out on a track hanging with the 172's I think that would make some awesome posts on CS

Its up to you, I will tell you know, It will be a waste of money But its a possibility if you have the money and really want to keep the car you love.

I remember when I picked that girl up a few weeks back for our date (the one who i picked up down the road so her dad didnt see the car).

She got in and cuz lusty has quite a loud air filter/exhaust, she said "wow you can really hear the engine".

She had no idea it was a 1.2 16v (being a girl she had no idea about engines and sizes anyway), so I reckon she was expecting some huuuge power, so rather than embarass myself and lusty I drove extra casually all the way there and back (kept the revs and speed down).

That way it looked like there was potentially loads of power left but I just wanted to drive slowly

I just wish lusty really did have the power to match the looks and sound. :dapprove: Therefore there would be no need for all this shizzle trying to maintain my dignity.

That doesnt mean that all girls dont have a clue! :nono:

Perhaps if you removed the body kit it may move slightly quicker!!!

I had the idea of a 2.0 conversion but decided against it as I cant afford it.

Craig - Yes back then I did think about a 20k car. However I dont have a much money as I thought I would (been spending it all on food as i'm sure you understand ).

p.s. Nobody likes a smart ass Craig. Or an ass pirate for that matter (the haters in here ).
