Next you will be wanting a stalk display adaptor?
Ive got an autoleads one that makes the stalk controls work but not the display. Put another thread on about which one you need to get both the display and the controls working. I think Connect 2 do one.
Whichever one you get you will need to take the dash off. I got mine professionally fitted before I discovered this forum but I believe its not that hard to do yourself.

It's not to hard to do yourself - I fitted my autoleads one in about half an hour. Can get them from halfrauds for about £30 or off fleabay i guess

Yeah decided to go for it, partly on your advice! I was tempted by the Sony MEX-1GP with built in memory
But I didn't like the fact you were limited to 1GB of memory. Plus with the model I bought you can buy 4 or even 8 gb sticks that are only about 1.5cm long, so don't really stick out!
Bought my 182 from new, its 3 years old in May so 04reg!
