That design truely was amazing, such a huge departure from convention.
I wonder how well it really would have worked though, certainly on paper it looks a pretty amazing idea, although modern turbos make it a bit redundant TBH, but at the time, was properly well thought out.

I've taken an interest and read about the ECV Lancia before from here - http://www.ecv1.com/e-home.htm. The story behind both cars, the ECV1 and ECV2 (below), is truly amazing.

Flol, its kind of group b ish, but the real thing would slaughter it in every single way.
Next step for it is compound charging based loosely on the way lancia did that.

TBH its not mega power, but was all about how it drove not the peak figures.
If you want power house have a look at the 1bhp per cc type power levels the megatron etc made!
Its only because im not allowed to hang around the ring museum rubbing my genitalia on the megatron engine they have there that I instead have to have a girlfriend
