Sorry for the boring question.......

But this forum has always provided me with the info I need.

Got a standard Mk II 172 in black in excellent condition with 73K on the clock. It's an import and I've owned it from new.

What sort of price range should I be looking for if I part exchange it?

Thanks.

A Renault Dealership probably wont give you more than about £1500 for it part ex knowing those robbing swines!

  1 Series Coupe
Average mileage: 30,000 miles Cost New ('02) £ 15095 (assuming it is an 02 plate?)

Franchised Dealer £ 8305

Independent Dealer £ 7780

Private Good £ 6610

Private Poor £ 4970

Part Exchange £ 5790

That is at 30,000 miles... so bout £4,500 part ex? if not much lower... depending on what mood they are in...

If the oval plate number has a 5/ are 0/ stamped on it then the car is an official UK car but brought into the UK by an independant importer - you can legally sell it as a UK car.
