as some of you might know i got a set of turinis for my car and had them on for a week before i took them off because i hated the handling (plus had 2 illegal tyres on them!)
the problem i had with the handling was the wheels were pulling the car a bit on bumps and in bends and i lost all confidence in the car, it lost its go-kart feeling!!
now i miss the looks the car had with the turinis so im getting 2 new tyres for them but the handling needs sorted! now im told it wont be the tracking as it was checked just 2 or 3 weeks before i got the turinis (it had standard 15s on it at the time) but could it possibly need checked again? (the car feels ok under braking if that helps)
i was told i just need the suspension geometry set up but what exactly needs done and any places about central scotland that do it? what about a front strut brace? was told by a guy who had a corsa gsi who went from 15s to 16s that this helped him (but obviously the clios a totaly different chassis)
also remember that the turinis have a much wider track if that helps, could that be the problem (See the pics below to see what i mean!)
cheers for any help
look how far the 15s sit in the arches at the rear!
