Sound proofing in MK1 boot lid

Just wondered what I should use to sound proof my boot lid on my MK1 Ph3 Clio, because at the moment it rattles like hell.

Dynamat.

i know someone who used expanding foam, did a great job aswell.

Thinking about doing that with mine as its not that expensive

They say the best results where seen using both dynamat, and expanding foam, but my mate used just expanding foam, and got rid of the rattles

Has anyone used expanding foam on a mk1 boot lid? Just wondering as it seems quite tricky to get to certain places. There is also quite a lot of little holes in the inside of the boot lid, it seems to me that foam will come pouring out =/

good point, was thinking about this. Would the dynamat spray be the same?
