space saver wheel for the 182??

would a space saver wheel off another car fit the 182?
if so which car would i be looking at buying one from?

Same here, had 2 blow out in 2 months, each time my mate has had to nick his mums 15" spare of a Laguna to save me! Was looking at buying a spare alloy but they cost alot, did nearly get 4 on eBay with the idea of flogging the other 3 as spares.

yes it would if it was the right size with the right pcd etc etc

the 182 wheel is 16inch et45 with a 7J 4 x 100 pcd

If you're going to carry it around you need as space saver, but they don't save that much space. And if you're not going to carry it around then you just need a wheel that fits, you don't need it to be a space saver, and you don't need it to be as wide or expensive as a 182 wheel.

Any space saver that has the same PCD,

The Honda Civic one fits the Clio, Corsa and Fiesta for instance, all 4 stud 100mm pcd

Remember the Centre bore people ...VW, Honda, Vauxhall 4x100's won't fit without work as they have a 57.1 C/B ....a clio is 60.1

sorry if this sounds like I'm teaching you to suck eggs etc.

but can you not just buy a standard steelie from a basic Clio, take for example: I have a Dynamique spec Clio with 15inch alloys, 185/55/15 Tyres, but in the boot for a spare is a 175/65/14 steelie like all the other clios bar the RS models.

and your guaranteed the wheel will fit as they are fitted as a standard set to Clio authentiques/expressions etc.
