Spacer ring for wheels?

  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
I have 17's on my car and when they were fitted they had spacer rings put on the wheels.
Now im not technical minded and dont really know why or what they do etc.

I am replacing one alloy as it is f*cked but the spacer ring i had originally on that rim was broken so that went in the bin. Now the new alloy i have has no spacer ring.

Do i need to get one, what do i need it for etc and what kind of places will sell them?

I guess they are spacers.

Just round pieces of plastic that fit in the centre of the wheel when you put it on the car.

Yep as Fred said spigot rings... what make are your wheels?

You need one that goes down to 60.1mm but I cant tell you what outer diameter as dont know what wheels you got.

the spigot is meant to take most of the weight of the car,

the bolts are to hold the wheels on against the spigot,

driving around without spigot rings is ill advised.
