Spacer the same as moving axle?

Not ideal but yes, an axle spacer will work.
Not a wheel spacer though.

There is a bit of adjustment on the rear subframe if you loosen all the bolts so you might be able to do that.

Was indeed the stubaxle spacer I was talking about.
With all the bolts you mean the one holding the brackets in right?
The ones everybody is always moaning about? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yes those are the ones. 6 in total.
Just out of interest have you checked you’ve got the same stub axles on both sides?
172cup axles were about 5mm thinner than standard. I found this on my car a couple of years ago.

  dan's cast offs.
5mm is a lot so would be worth checking stub axles as already mentioned. Does it drive ok? How did you find out it was 5mm out?

yeah I know, found out from an alignment see this topic.
offset is 0°.07min, plugged some numbers (wheelbase, centerline angle, offset angle) into a Pythagoras website and it came up as 5mm

it also has a problem with camber.

it now drives ok, slight pull under braking and seems to prefer left hand corners.
