Spacers on standard bolts

Hi, basically my predicament is this. I have a Clio Mark 2 Phase 2 1.6 16v Dynamique+. I have standard 15" wheels on and the standard tyres size is 185/55. The thing is I have got on some 195/50 Toyo Proxes T1Rs and the tyres have started catching on the front shocks.

I think I should be safe with 3mm to just stop it catching but does anyone know or have had experience using 5mm spacers on standard wheel bolts?

Always use longer bolts.

3mm would be your maximum though on standard bolts.

Many thanks, I have ordered some 3mm to be safe and hopefully they will stop the catching

im on 5mm with standard bolts... nothings gone wrong as of yet. Not even loosened at all.
