time to bug the technical minded here

does higher quality ignition leads and uprated spark plugs make much difference to your car?

Nothing major. Depending on your car it may run slightly smoother.

Notice you have a 1.2 16v in your profile, you cant get aftermarket/uprated leads for these as they are fixed into the coil pack so must use standard ones.

Plugs, either the standards ones (champion) or NGKs are good enough.

Which plugs did you go for? Mines done 51k miles now and i reckon its time to change them.

They've never been done!

Stock leads are more than enough same for plugs there very good hence why some tunners use them for properly tunned cars.

not sure tbh ............... had it done as part of the service and car felt smoother , but was that cos of the service or parts used ???
