Speakers for Williams

Hello fellas,

I just had a search through some of the old posts about replacement speakers for the door and rear in a Willy 3.

Right I think I need 13cm or 5.25" replacement speakers, can anyone recommend some good enough replacements, Im not looking to spend mega bucks just something to improve upon the Standard ones, as I am taking out my amp and current speakers as they bug me, I want to back to semi standard and a bit more boot space.

Anybody got any ideas, I know from searching Mat you recommended some from letbuycaraudio to someone but the site has changed so your links dont work.

Try Sony, Kenswood, panasonic and proplus for there OE direct replacement range pal.

JBL are a good speaker, have a look around in clubs and pubs 9/10 there using JBL.

Get some tweeters on the dash, they make a big difference.

Ive also heard good reports about MCS-Direct, recommended by Autotrader if u go on there website.

Pioneer imo Rob, pricey, but crisper sound. tried Sony Xplod, Kenwood and Infinity Kappas in mine, but they all sounded a bit washy...

Yeah was thinking Pioneer had them in my Valver and sounded the sh*t

The ones i recommended would have been for the dash and rears as the Willy2 doesnt have door speakers.

Think they were the two, top ones if your feeling flush, bottom ones if your on a budget.

So the ones you recommended Mat are 4" these fit in the rears and dash and 5.25" in the Doors, I assumed that they would all be 13cm/5.25"?

Nah, the ones in your dash will be tweeters because you have door speakers.
The ones in the rear are 4".
The door speakers are 5.25".
