Advise on speakers to put back in standard positions, I am clueless on this, rough budget of about £100.

Comps front wired up with the boxes etc, and co axial's at the rear then just buy what your budget suits.

I have some comps up front, they aren't wired in like they should be using the crossover boxes because I couldn't be bothered but I'm happy enough with the sound, I do have a small sub in the boot though to add bass.

I've got the pioneer ones in my clio mate, fit perfectly didn't even have to cut the clips off for the standard ones which is good. went straight in

Alpine SPG-13C2s all the way Then again I used to run Alpine UK's IT Dept so got MASSIVE discounts ... so I'm a bit biased!

These in the parcel AMPED -http://caraudiosecurity.com/slick-69-2-v2-2-way-6x9-speakers <- meh, they're 6x9's but do the job.

Also have an old alpine 10" sub in the boot, but not pumping out bass, just something to fill in the missing deeper bass.

Overall I'm happy with the sound and it performs well for a car with massive road noise.

That should be fine, But I'd put mid bass drivers in the back to compensate for no sub... IMO.

That Would give you a decent setup, and if you wanted to, you could amp them both up no problems in the future.
