Morning all.

I’ve had a search through previous posts but can’t find anything recent. I’m looking for recommendations for a Renault specialist local to me. I’m currently in Bradford, on the border with Leeds, but will be moving to Boroughbridge in North Yorkshire in the not too distant future.

Any recommendations much appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

There's EFI in Runcorn if you want mapping? I don't know if anyone rates RS Tuning in Leeds anymore.

If you want belts doing it might be worth the trip down to Mick at Diamond Motors?

Thank you. It’s not been running for a while so I’m not sure exactly what it’ll need but definitely not mapping! It’ll need transporting so might be a bit far from Diamond Motors but I could ask the question

Birchdown or Mark Black are your closest options for people that actually care about their job

Birchdown is in Cheshire and Mark is in Creswell. But @MicKPM is highly regarded as one of the best from most people on here

They're not massively complicated cars to be honest, and the usual problems they do have are fairly easy to solve.

If you know how to turn a spanner then you should be able to tackle most of it yourself?

It started running on three cylinders a long time ago and changing the coil pack and leads didn’t solve the problem. Some other stuff had come up and I had another car to use so I left it in the garage and haven’t got round to it since - I think it’ll need all fluids changing and a proper service along with fixing the problem itself and I haven’t got anything beyond a jack and a basic socket set so think I need some professional help!
