Speed sensor connected to radio wiring?

I yesterday changed my gearbox speed sensor as I had intermittent loss of the speedo. BuT still had issues with the new sensor.

I fitted a nokia bluetooth handsfree kit and a generic ISO intelli-mute box and Sunday and discovered today the speedo only drops out when I am on the phone!

Is the radio ISO wiring connected to the radio somehow? Say for speed related volume?

I am guessing the mute box that piggy backs on the ISO car to ISO radio leads doesn't have a link for the speedo when the phone is in use? I will contact the mute box people.

It's there to turn up/down thevolume due to road speed..

Sorted it. There are three mute wires on the intellimute box, I changed them round and the speedo works with the phone on.
