Speedo messing up :(

So basically I will be driving along, speedo working perfectly, then the needle just dies and goes to 0, the revs are working as well as petrol and temperature. Every time this happens a warning light comes on.

Haven't got a clue what's up with it

Speed sensor might be knakered on the gearbox mate. Check no wires are loose/corroded/fooked.

Cheers ill check it, do you know if its hard to get to ?

I don't think so should be on the top of the gearbox from memory?

As said speedo sensor there about's £15 off eBay take's about 5 mins to change dead easy they just unplug and pull out look one up on eBay then you will know what it look's like

Same happened on my. Cleaned it with contact spray first. Worked fine for a week or 2. Got a new one for about a tenner. Not expensive and took 5 minutes to do.
