speedo sensor not working

i recently had my box changed and the speedo sensor isnt working the mechanic said that there was a little plastic piece under the speedo sensor that he transferred from the old to the new but its not there and i dont kno what its called also i need one for my speedo to work cani buy them from renault or get on off a scrap box ? thanks

What box code did u fit... probably got a none speedo box now and even tho the speedo sensor still fits it won't have the guts

Which version of the 172 is it? ph1, ph2 or cup?

i bought the right box a cup one but i got the early ph2 51 plate 172 that the speedo runs off the box
