I did an LED dash conversion yesterday and disconnected the motors that move the needles to make it easier to get at the bulbs. However, put them back in and now the rev counter moves correctly but the mph one doesn't move properly. It seems to tick a little, so it must be at least partly responding to the stimulus of accelerating. Then when I stop the car and turn off the engine, the mph needle stays where it was (usually around 20mph).
Anyone have any ideas?
I thought it might have been that I didn't solder it back in properly, but surely then it wouldn't move at all? I tried to sort out the soldering and it hasn't changed.
