Speedometer stuck at 100 mph.

Looked down tonight and i was doing 160 mph !

The needle when stationery is at 100mph and wont drop below. On the move the needle goes all the way round. Stops at the 6 oclock position.....

Any ideas ? New speedo ?

to much boost ?. mine did something similar, i held down the button on the end of the wiper stalk and turn the ignition on, keep the button held down
