Spent 2 hours in Renault today

Ive just spent 2 hours in Renault with them going looking for a 182 for me. Anyhu, after all this time they came up with an 2005 05 reg 182 in Burnt Orange? 4500 miles, but they wanted £13500 for it. Now ive just looked on AutoTrader, and 06 reg ones are available for £12495?! They also offered me £2500 for my VTR, but im putting it in the Trader for £4k, so if i put this cash as a deposit, they'd knock £5500 off the total price. Is there any advantage of buying with a Renault main dealer, other than a full valet?!

there's not many brand new ones left, so if you dont mind buying second hand do yourself a favour and pay under £10k on the cars for sale section on here.

dealers have the advantage of comeback, warranty etc...

Go private, you are covered by warranty anyway for three years whether you buy it off a dealer or not. Any problems with the dealers withholding courtesy cars etc saying you bought the car privately just ring Renault customer service 0800723372 and they will soon sort the dealers out.

We bought a british 2005 3 month old 182 cup in inferno in brand spanking new condition with 1000 miles on the clock for £9700!!!!!!!

We spent the difference on alloys, decat and stainless exhaust,ram feed induction kit ,group n ecu and inlet matching and carbon fibre bucket seats with alloy frames etc!!!!!!!

It cost less than renault wanted for the car in the first place
