Splitter problem

Hi Folks. Can anyone help?

I took my Cup and my new (genuine) splitter to my garage this morning to get it fitted (lazy git that I am).

They tell me that part of the undertray is missing & so they can't fix it on properly.

Right enough, under the lower grill on the right, where my CAF comes through, there's a space where I guess there should be some undertray. Perhaps the prev owner removed it to feed the CAF through without removing the bumper.

So I'm looking at getting a new undertray section.

Does this sound right? Any idea how much this is gonna cost?

in short nope mine is screwed to bumper not touching undertray

so is mine, as had to tighten few screws... last w/end whilst changing front spotlight

mine too. unless its where it fixes through the bumper into the wheel arch liners each side............. these are damaged on mine so am getting new ones without them there is not alot to screw into as they have the metal fixings on that the screws fix into.

Ah right.. so it is possible to attach the splitter directly onto the bumper but is this how it's meant to be done?

It looks like there are screws already in the bumper which fix onto the undertray & these are taken out & the holes used for the new fixings.

Is that right?
