Spoiler brake light

  Giulietta 940
Before someone says it, yes I have used the search function (maybe not very well).

Does anyone have the part number for the spoiler brake light unit for the standard 182? All the threads thrown up in the search were for the cup spoiler brake light.

Thanks in advance.

Its just not worked for nearly a year (it was an advisory on my MOT), and seeing as the MOT is coming up I thought I would finally get round to it...

And to save you the trouble of working it out, I'm a complete noob when it comes to the workings of a car :( So, where would the fuse be? And presuming there would be more than one for different electrical bits of the car, which one am I looking for in particular?

There is on for the rear brake light. Open the passenger door. Inside the hinge area, there s a little panel with a yellow and red sticker on it. Pull panel off, and turn it over. There will be a load of symbols on the back (a key) to show which fuse in what position does what. Have a look and report back. It might not be that, but it's worth a try just in case.

If the fuse had blown then none of the brakelights would work, they aren't seperately fused mate ;)

It could simply be unplugged, it has a plug in connector underneath the spoiler.

I'll have a look for a PN now.

Any luck Da?

I don't mind replacing the whole brake light unit, they're only £20ish if I remember correctly. I just need the part number for my mechanic :rasp:

I thought that mate, but for some reason mine wasn't working, but my others were. Changed the fuse and all good ;) Renault for you.
