Spoiler Q???

My RB has a built in factory fitted sat-nav.
It also has all the cup packs except the cup spoiler ive heard that the cup spoiler interferes with the signal on the sat-nav is this true???

but ive seen a clio sport for sale on here with both cup spoiler and sat-nav heres the link!

Is it true that there was only 44 clio sports made in the uk with the sat-nav option? ive read it somewhere???

yeh on the renault sport heritage site its gives you the specs that were sold! there was only a few with sat nav! i think it looks really good with built in sat nav!

cant help on the spoiler though, i cant see have it would interfere with the sat nav though!

Apparently renault didnt fit the cup spoiler with nav, but people have fit one afterwards, might have had to cut it a bit, I dont know for sure.

Could yours be the one on top gear? RB with nav, cant be many with that combo.

6 came with Sat Nav in RB. 42 in the whole country in 182 format.

You dont need to hack it to pieces either ffs

They didn't fit them as it slightly touches the aerial and bends it forwards about 10mil when you open the boot. Hardly a drama tbh.

i think he was refering to the spoiler interfering with the sat nav, not the facts about 44 sat nav 182's!
id get a cup spoiler fitted dude, will make a big difference over the smaller 1!

See post 4.... You defo dont need to cut it. Will just fit straight on. Never said r.sport heritage was wrong

and is sat nav not the reason the clios have that little square patch in the middle bottom of the windscreen in tinted examples? otherwise the tinted screen interferes with the signal, so spoiler shouldnt cause any problems with the sat nav, check its not had a knock though and the tailgate replaced just incase.

The ariel for the sat nav on the 182's with it built in is in the base of the normal ariel. thats why it looks bulky, and its angle is different, thats why they didnt come with the cup spoiler on cos its bigger, and thus touches the ariel.


The bit in the bottom of the windscreens is just for normal dash mounted sat navs.
