sport badges

Car  Clio MK 4
I have done a search and found that to remove the renault sport badge at the back i need to use hairdrier etc. Apart from tar remover is there anything else that i can use to remove the remaining bits of glue?

Also i can't find any posts on how people actually fit the new style renault sport badge? What glue do you use?

I believe the new badge is self-adhesive but that is only a guess so dont take my word for it..

the new ones already have glue on them . they cost about £19 upwards

You don't really need the hairdrier to remove the badge. Best bet is just a length of dental floss - works a treat.

And as others, the new RS badging already has adhesive on the back.

If you're matching the new RS badge up to the Clio badge on the other side of the boot - you need to lower the RS badge placement slightly as its smaller than the old RS badge.

D.

I'd be scared to use white spirit... :S

I wanna take off my CLIO badge, how do i take that off?.... i just need to take it off to clean the paint work, coz its hard to get inside the lettering.

And it'll pop back in?..

Just worried that when i pull them off, they won't go back in the same way it was before. As in flush.

haz mate, didnt get a chance to search for that grill the other day, will be looking tonite instead matey! and as long as you dont snap/bend the pins itl go back in flush my friend, if not, snap the pins off and use some sort of adhesive to stick it back on i quess

The Stick on ones can be used by a hair dryer on gentle heat, then wash afterwards.

All it needs tbh..

does the new sport badge come with the renault badge together or just on its own? does anyone have the part number too? cheers
