Sportlined Cup...

Had Eibach Sportlines and Greenstuff pads put on yesterday at Carlton Garage in Exmouth as well as my 24k service (top work, will be going back for every service from now on)

Not a fan of the slammed look personally but I wanted a subtle drop to tidy up the lines a bit, and was interested in how it would affect handling. Sportlines seemed to be the best option.

To the average person absolutely nothing has changed (my missus and paents didn't even notice), but as I look at S25 every day I can notice it immediately...the front arch gap is now closed up a bit and follows the shape of the wheel better, just what I wanted. Alex said it probably dropped about an inch. Very pleased personally, turn in seemed to be sharper and the new brakes have great stopping power already, felt like a new car driving it home as I was so used to every response from the car before, have to learn again now.

As a side note the only thing that came up from the service was that my rear pads would need changing in about 6k, seems like mine are actually working then!

nice! thats how they should sit from the factory imo

  182 - Now Cooper S
where can i get the cup badge that you have on your door?? ebay is the obvious but is there any where else? i think its a nice touch

Only problem now is that at standard height it sat perfectly when you parked in those spaces with kerbs at the front of them, the splitter just cleared the concrete. Now I have to be very very careful, remembered at the last minute yesterday and stopped but it would have slammed straight into it, I get the feeling my carbon splitter won't be lasting very long now!

Looks good mate, strange how the standard Cup ride height now looks like it's on stilts! Good work.

Excellent, I've got exactly the same on mine, even brakes.

Drives like a new car, in fact like a sports car should.

Enjoy..... :approve:

Just had a look and it's a tiny bit lower this morning (I think, certainly looks it), looks even better now.

Next are gloss black Turini's (Megane F1 colour) and maybe a few bits colour coded with them, such as the 2.0 badge and Renault badges. All new parts though, the originals are going in storage as first and foremost I want a mint original Cup in years to come, so the more bits I can take off and safely store the better!
