Sports CArs in the Park Newby Hall 6th May 2018

 
Unfortunately I won’t be there and iv not got my 172 anymore due to it needing to go to a new home [emoji85]

Hopefully mine will be something like buy then, won’t be all done but will be back on the road so I’m up for this one
 
I went to this last year , took an hour to get in due to them taking £ from cars queuing up to enter. Previously I've been to newby they let you park up then pay at the gate . Get there early is a must

They let the show cars in an hour before the general public so we were OK. There's talk of changing the entrance and exits this year, mainly because of the owner of the house up the exit road complaining about people booting it after the cattle grid

Looks like we will be just put in a French car section. RS club are going to another event so we won't be getting fed this time.
You want to find somewhere to meet on the way up @RV. Gate opens at 9 I think and after that will be a very long queue.

Yeah I will have a look on maps. That's a shame :( but we can try and make some friends with another club and steal their food;) hehe. What time do you think we should get there for? Little bit earlier so were not stuck in a big queue?
 
Just checked the weather and got butterflies in my stomach! haha Sunny no clouds at 21 degrees, PERFECT! lets hope theyre right
 
No can do on this unfortunately. Only just realised that my Clio has run out of MOT and won't have time to get it MOT'd this week as I've got loads of work to do on it :(
 
We’ve been the last few years and it’s a good do, there’s a French section which we usually go into, I think they open at 9 but sometimes you have to wait until about 9.30ish before your let in, I quite like getting there early and parking the car up and watch the cars come into the event, we usually spend all day walking round the cars and surroundings

Not sure yet mate. I think I'll be going down to visit Carl on the Saturday for my exhaust welding but may well end up being Sunday.

Don't know what chance I'll get to wash the car! Want it cleaner than it was at csf haha

When is the latest for getting tickets?
