Lol, you only mot once a year people! Even if it took a couple of hours once a year its worth a couple of hours for the increased performance...

Mine runs much better. The exhuast is a Scorpoin exhuast from a valver with new brackets welded on to make it fit. I got the de-cat pipe from someone on here for £15 and I have a manifold on aswell. The de-cat did make a noticable amount of difference. As for the 1.2 16v im not sure what a de-cat would do to it.

1.2 16v doesnt work that well with a decat as its losing some all important torque. i got my sports cat and deffo consider it worthwhile, whilst still completely pointless (its a 1.2 after all) but would probably do it again as it proper pops and bangs on runover.

ive got a sports cat on my 1.2 16v. did post some vids (albeit extremely poor) a while ago but no idea where they are now

the sound on those vids is absolutly crap, you'll have to take my word for it that it does sound mint in real life. Mines a powerflow, and cost 180 quid iirc :)

would it make much diffrence, if the exhaust is just the standard back box from renault with the sports cat. or is it better to get a exhuast thing fro it ( sory, my mechanical knowledge isnt that good)

I've got a stealth system on mine, which means its the same design as the standard but stainless and a wider bore. Wouldnt advise one on a standard exhaust to be honest as i think the back pressure would be too much for it, and dont think it'll last long
