Spraying Badges

I've seen many cars where the badge has been sprayer, im talking about the diamond part, im assuming that this is taken of sanded down and sprayed how ever i am wondering what people use to put it back on with? Or is there something else that is done before hand
any advice will help thanks

is it the front or rear diamond? front one just pulls off and pushes back on

ah right ok, and what about the rear as i would like both of them to look the same?

done my rear tody , lift up hatch and remove plastic door card , underneath the wiper motor you will find 3 bolts in a triangle formation , undo them completly and the rear badge and its holder should just pull of , then just prise out the diamond
