Spraying interior handles , fear insert etc

Sorry about title ment to be GEAR insert lol


Today i want to spray interior gear insert , electric holder plates , handbrake button and door handles.

Could someone tell me what paint i need to buy etc

I read somewhere you have to laquer etc

Finally a step by step guide would be great

Can i buy the items from halfords ?

You'll need some plastic primer , your colour coat , lacquer , some wet n dry in varying grades nothing rougher than 320 grit , also good to have some fine stuff on hand like 1000 , 1500 and 2000 grit . Let the lacquer cure for a few days . If there are any rough patches on the lacquer , wet sand with 1500 - 2000 grade then polish up with some megs scratch x .

I think ill just pop down to the locakl salvage yard and see if i can pick myself up a 172 interior pack
