Spring on upside-down – is this a problem?

  220 Trophy
I have the AST Sportline 2 coil-over set and just noticed at the weekend that the driver’s front spring is the wrong way up. May be this is’nt a problem, but it has an “up” arrow on it but unfortunately its pointing down. The other three are all pointing up.Now is this a problem? - I can’t think why it ever would be, but presumably there must be a reason why it’s been advised to be fitted one way up than the other?????

I wouldnt worry about it to much if they're the same diameter throughout, I'd probably sort it one day.

Thanks Sam, I totally agree and will swap it over at some point just to be sure. Its not that just the writing is upside down, it’s that it actually says “UP” and has an arrow – all of which are pointing down at the moment. The spring is compressed from both below and above and it’s not progressive so I can’t think of any reason why it would matter – but presumably there must be or Eibach wouldn’t have bothered printing UP and an arrow?????.......

Thanks Tony. Matt said it shouldn’t make any difference and Curtis at AST said the same, its just bugging me why Eibach would bother printing UP and the arrow if it wasn’t supposed to be fitted a particular way around.I’m not comfortable changing it myself. It was Track-Group that fitted it upside-down, so they/TDF can change it next time it’s in.Would the geo need re-setting?
