springs failing???

  B-road bully
hi guys, been out recently and started to notice a rubbing noise coming from the back of my car (quite loud at speed!)
i guessed the arches were rubbing but to my suprise its a soilid part of the shock absorber and another part near it, im really worried as the tire is gone really smooth on the inside now,
confused why this is happening now as the car was fine for a year or two. currently lowered on PI springs 30mm not sure what is going wrong?! ive put spacers on and i can still hear it! can anybody help? :(

thanks

ive notice the tire is touching something too leaving a polished surface in the inner sidewall of the tire. but im not sure which is causing the noise as the mark on the tire isnt constant.

My rear arch liner has worn away sounds like you might be having the same trouble. JSut take the wheel of have a look whats catching and see if it can be removd or spacer the wheel out.

Does sound like a wheel bearing, and for the wheel to actually be touching a part of the car, it must be knackered bad. Easiest way to check is jack car up and see if you can move the wheel in a way which it shouldnt be moved ie. hands at 12 and 6oclock and try and push and pull it away from you

Someone mentioned spacing the wheel out, but if its been alright for time ,then somethings obviosuly worn, plus you can just space one wheel out lol, and then you run the risk of it looking like some kind of dragster!
