Squeakiest Brakes in the World!

Had Brembo HC and Mintex fitted a couple of weeks ago.

Ive done about 4oo miles in them now and they squeak like a mother!!

Worse when slow brakeing and even more worse when turning and braking.

DOnt know if its because of the pad?

Just makes the car sound shite, doesnt help driving in and out of barracks everyday, the lads on guard

will need ear defenders!

either take it back to the place you got them fitted - or slap some copper grease between the pad and piston and see if that helps.

Fred at BTM fitted them so im sure they will be fine, i thought it might just be a common problem

with the Mintex pads.

I have pagid blues and the noise is really bad..pretty embarrassing when coming to a stop at some lights

I've got Pagid Blues. They're not too bad, but they do squeal a bit.

When I'm slowing for lights, junctions, whatever I do occasionally find myself applying pedal pressure based on what minimises the squeal, not what gives the smoothest deceleration - not very cool.

put copper grease on the back of the pads it should help it if not sort it completly

I got high carbons and carbon lorain pads they are so loud they make my ears bleed, but no fade and stop on a dime so I live with it
