Squeaky shock or spring

  Clio 182 Sport
Hi, new to the forum as I have only just picked up my Clio 182 54 plate. After driving it now for the past two days I have noticed a squeaking noise coming from the drivers side rear shock or spring. The car has just passed its MOT so surely it cant be a defective shock...
When having a quick look there is a casing around the shock that is touching the part that moves when cushioning the bumps in the road etc.....could this be the culprit?

Has anyone else had this noise/issue and know what I can do to get rid of it?

All help appreciated :)

I think i have the same issue with my cup, Ive literally just bought replacement shocks for all four corners. I also have eibach sportlines to go on. Im not sure, but the squeak could be because of defective mounts?

will check the mounts but as it has just passed its MOT I am unsure if this would be the problem (if they check the mounts that is lol)... it dosnt effect the handling just gets annoying lol

how low will your eibach springs drop the clio?
