Squeeking on wheel turn.

Hi guys,

What could cause this?

It only happens (can only hear it) when I'm sat still - no, it's not the tyre rubbing against the floor.

Quite loud, a bit like a screech.

Sounds as if it's coming from drivers side front.

Anything I can look for to try and pin point the problem?

That sounds like the Aux belt is loose.

Is that something I'd just be able to check, without tools?

I mean, by 'loose', does this mean sagging off or just not as tight as it should be? Quite fatal if that slips isn't it?

Probably the bottom ball joints. They have a habbit of going on the 197/200's.

I can't see why it would be the aux belt if it's only when you turn the wheel....?

Not fatal if aux belt slips, fatal if it snaps and goes into the cambelt.
