Srp + glazes

  Ph 1 172
Quick question would you use Srp with a glaze such as poorboys White diamond then wax over the top or would the glaze rip the srp off the bodywork?

The glaze won't rip the polish off the bodywork, I don't think. Although fundamentally, unless you're really going to town with the SRP, then you're wasting your time really, the glaze will act as a filler too.

I might be wrong though, so maybe wait and see what some of the others say!

Both contain fillers, not used it but I'd imaging white diamond to contain more. A glaze shouldn't remove anything laid under it, although SRP may do this as it contains a tiny amount of abrasives.

I found if SRP is worked well it can act as a bit of a cleanser also

I still don't understand the misconception that polishes stay on the paint work? SRP does, granted, but it's the filling particles, not the polish.

SRP fills very well. ADding to it with a glaze will go over it again with more filling oils and clay particles. I wouldn't say you are doubling your work load, but it isn't that necessary. You won't notice a difference. And by you, I mean 99% of the population without OCD.

I used SRP with my da for the first time at the weekend and it actually gives quite good results, a little does gona long way.
