Dam good effort. The recovery truck was picking it up off the roundabout itself, while the owner was pulling bits of bush out of the front bumper.

On the first roundabout after you leave the M6 for Cannock.

I had the tail of my 182 step out a little there, I was racing a motorbike at the time and showing him how much faster a car could take the roundabout though. lol

Well i was passenger in my mates phase quick, i stuck my thumb up to ya as you went past but you were too busy looking at the car lol.

As what happened to you, took the island too quick, back end stepped out and ended up going sideways onto the island.

The cars not actually that bad we dont think, time will tell when we get a proper look tomoz. Gutted for my mate though

I couldn't see any damage, other than the bush in the front. I didn't see you stick your thumb up, but I was looking at the car with one eye and had the other on some gimp in a crappy Hyundai next to me who had been giving it some along the DC.

Hope he gets it sorted. At least you were both okay though.

Glad to see you call them islands. It must be a Midlands thing. Everyone on here kept telling me to call them roundabouts. lol

That wasn't a bush implanted into the front of the car, it was a sign, the big fooker with two posts lol

it was stuck on a random pile of concrete on the island so took a while to get free =(

Hopefully it'll only cost me £500ish to sort the lot

DON'T take that island at 50leptons and expect to control the oversteer when you hit the slippy stuff, after having a VTS i can pretty much always judge commedy oversteer, not this time - Mot's lesson for the day!

the fog's actually ok the grill needs replacing and the bonnet needs sorting a little...the sign smashed the windscreen and the cross member needs new too!

still only £500ish (then sell it lol)

It didn't look that bad when I went past. There's something about the roundabouts in Cannock these days, they seem to use crap tarmac.

It's cause they threw them roads down - they're really weak stuff and the top "shines" really easy with heavy traffic. I've had a few moments on those roads too. The one up the orbital is as bad.

The Orbital is in the local papers weekly. A week doesn't go by where a female driver or boy racer doesn't lose it and end up stuck up the bank near Finning. Last winter they put cones and 10mph speed limit signs out to slow people down!! That's a 50mph dual carriageway too.

There is little to no grip around that ISLAND, I normally give it a little around there on my way back from footy, thankfully it's never catched me out but the back end is always out a little!

It's a midland thing. only in the midlands do we call them islands, or more accuratly TRAFFIC ISLANDS.
