Hello all
Im a complete newbie, just bought a 172 cup today and i love it to bits my last car was a supercharged mx5 mk1 and this cup puts the 5 to shame. Iv noticed that to drive my new clio in a straight line i must tilt the steering to the right. Could it be the tracking, or just a wonky steering wheel? I looked in the history and found that the tracking had just been done. Whilst looking in the history i noticed that it had the off side spring changed last month for the mot, just the one spring. (Part number UGCGRS472946) Im wondering if it could be pulling to the left because of the newer spring being higher, because it is new or the wrong part? does any one know if this is the right part number? From what i have read the 172 cup has different springs than the 172 none cup so possibly the last owner bought the wrong part. Does anyone know where i can find some standard Clio cup springs or some after market ones that would have the same drop as standard.
I would be greatfull for any help
