Standard 172 Wheels On a Mk1?????

Basically im getting my Mk1 Rsi alloys refurbed next week and instead of putting the old steelies back on for a week my bro has a spare set of standard 172 wheels, Will they fit on a mk1 cos ive seen mk1s with turinis on wonderin if they will too
