Standard 182 exhaust- popping

done it only a couple of times since i got car new in june 04, under hard driving, second gear high revs and back down, back up, nice loud pops from the rear

mine did it once

mate came round in his new bmw 325 and was showing me that.. then asked me to rev my 182. it was quite cold and did a couple of pops.. shocked us both. hasnt done it since.

mine did that on sunday.. started popping, the only engine mod I have is a 57i induction, all the rest is standard though.. weird sound though .. good too! lol

Its usually because its leaking and sucking air in somewhere.

poppin isnt all good...

whenever i go down any kind of hill, its loud continuous poppin all the way. some people (old ones especially) look at ya to see if your car is about to blow up!
